IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING VAT DECLARATIONS (VAT1, VAT2, VAT2B, VAT4, VAT9015) Our Presidency has initiated the 'e-Declaration' application within the scope of the 'Electronic Declaration Application' aimed at renewing the software with new, updated, and open-source codes. Starting from 1/9/2025, VAT declarations (VAT1, VAT2, VAT2B, VAT4, VAT9015) will be collected through the e-Declaration application for taxpayers in Eskişehir and Kırıkkale, designated as pilot provinces for the August 2025 declaration period. Starting from 1/11/2025, this will also apply to Konya and Muğla for the October 2025 declaration period, and from the December 2025 period onwards, it will be applicable in Afyonkarahisar, Bursa, Kırıkkale, and Yalova. From the March 2026 period onwards, it will also be applicable in Bartın, Bilecik, Karabük, Karaman, Amasya, Burdur, Bolu, Kastamonu, Niğde, and Yozgat for the specified tax types.

Within the scope of the project, in order to expand the scope of the pilot application, VAT declarations (VAT1, VAT2, VAT2B, VAT4, VAT9015) will also be collected through the e-Declaration application for taxpayers in İzmir, Adana, Gaziantep, and Mersin starting from the April 2026 period, effective from 1/5/2026.

Taxpayers in İzmir, Adana, Gaziantep, and Mersin with tax liabilities for the April 2026 and subsequent periods must submit their declarations using the VAT declarations titled '0015-VAT1, 4017-VAT2, 4018-VAT2B, 0016-VAT4, and 9015-VAT9015' under the '+ New Declaration' button by accessing the 'e-Declaration' application through the Digital Tax Office.

Additionally, for tax professionals, starting from the April 2026 taxation period, if the accounting programs they use are integrated into the e-Declaration system (all information and documents necessary for integration have been shared with the accounting programs making the integration request), it will also be possible to submit declarations through the 'e-Declaration' system via integration (web service).

By clicking on the icon related to the user title located in the upper right corner of the main page of the e-Declaration application, detailed explanations regarding the pages of VAT declarations can be accessed by sequentially clicking on the headings 'Help -> e-Declaration Documents -> Start Now'.
